Brittany Story is the Operations Manager of the Labor Innovations for the 21st Century (LIFT) Fund.
Prior to LIFT, Brittany explored roles in both non-profit and for-profit industries. Most recently, she worked at Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) where she supported recruiting & admissions efforts to grow their Career Prep Fellows Program. Brittany’s diverse experience includes longer runs at Teaching Trust, Express Scripts, and Drury Hotels and shorter stints at AmeriCorps, COOP Careers, the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum (NAPAWF), and the LIFT Fund before coming aboard full-time.
As Operations Manager at LIFT, Brittany oversees a subset of LIFT’s initiatives, including projects within national partnerships and the Southern Workers Opportunity (SWO) Fund as well as growth explorations in California and the Midwest. She shares LIFT’s deep commitment to equity and worker power.
Though originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Brittany is an alum of Saint Louis University. She is community-conscious and action-oriented. In her free time, Brittany enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying various cuisines in the KCMO area, traveling the world, and practicing yoga.
