Reece Chenault is a Program Manager for the Labor Innovations for the 21st Century (LIFT) Fund.
Reece has been organizing human beings since college, but considers the start of his organizing career Union Summer ‘03 in Mississippi, making this nearly 20 years being a part of some kind of movement work. He’s worked with multiple union locals, supported the creation of multiple black worker centers, and even spent some time at the intersection of the anti-war movement and labor. Reece loves working in the South and Appalachia not only because he started there but because that’s where his people are from. Most recently, Reece worked with Wildseed Society on a program that works with organizers on developing healing and restoration practices in times of crisis.
